Our loving Father by His Ruach HaKodesh recently quickened in my spirit an important
aspect of His eternal truth that I was overlooking or minimizing. I think many who are seeking to walk each day in YHVH’s Torah may also be overlooking this vital truth. With all that happening in the world around us, the unscrolling of YHVH’s plans and purposes, are you allowing fear to grow within your heart and with it your concerns, anxiety and stress? If so, have you sought the answer from YHVH’s word, yes even from His own lips to His beloved ones? The Ruach HaKodesh prompted me to search his Word and blessed me with many words of encouragement and hope because of YHVH’s love. The Ruach HaKodesh directed me to share YHVH’s words, without comment or opinion, for prayerful study and consideration as He leads you into all truth for your own encouragement. Taken from Genesis through Revelation, many verses are the direct words of YHVH, our loving Father, to His beloved children, whether a single individual or His people as a whole. Surely they are as valid today as when they were spoken for they are YHVH’s eternal truth. May the words you read and the truth the Ruach HaKodesh reveals to you through them be a blessing to you. May your life be filled with only one fear – the fear of the L-rd, YHVH, our Creator and King of the Universe – and all the blessings that result. Genesis 15:1 After these things the word of YHVH came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; your reward shall be very great.” Genesis 21:17 Elohim heard the lad crying; and the angel of Elohim called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, “What is the matter with you, Hagar? Do not fear, for Elohim has heard the voice of the lad where he is.” Genesis 26:24 YHVH appeared to him the same night and said, “I am the Elohim of your father Abraham; Do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you, and multiply your descendants, For the sake of My servant Abraham.” Genesis 46:3 So He said, “I am El, the Elohim of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there.” Exodus 14:13 But Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of YHVH which He will accomplish for you today; for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you will never see them again forever.” Do Not Fear! Numbers 14:9 “Only do not rebel against YHVH; and do not fear the people of the land, for they will be our prey. Their protection has been removed from them, and YHVH is with us; do not fear them.” Deuteronomy 1:21 “See, YHVH your Elohim has placed the land before you; go up, take possession, as YHVH, the Elohim of your fathers, has spoken to you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” Deuteronomy 3:22 “Do not fear them, for YHVH your Elohim is the one fighting for you.” Deuteronomy 10:12 “Now, Israel, what does YHVH your Elohim require from you, but to fear YHVH your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and love Him, and to serve YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul, Deuteronomy 10:20 “You shall fear YHVH your Elohim; you shall serve Him and cling to Him, and you shall swear by His name. Deuteronomy 20:3 “Listen, Israel! Today you are moving forward to do battle with your enemies. Do not be fainthearted. Do not fear and tremble or be terrified because of them.” Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous! Do not fear or tremble before them, for YHVH your Elohim is the one who is going with you. He will not fail you or abandon you!” Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for YHVH your Elohim is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 10:8 YHVH said to Joshua, “Do not fear them, for I have given them into your hands; not one of them shall stand before you.” Joshua 10:25 Joshua then said to them, “Do not fear or be dismayed! Be strong and courageous, for thus YHVH will do to all your enemies with whom you fight.” 1 Samuel 12:20 Samuel said to the people, “Do not fear. You have committed all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following YHVH, but serve YHVH with all your heart.” Psalm 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Psalm 27:1 YHVH is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? YHVH is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Do Not Fear! Psalm 33:18-19 Behold, the eye of YHVH is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness, 19 To deliver their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine. Psalm 34:9 O fear YHVH, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want. Psalm 56:4 In Elohim, whose word I praise, In Elohim I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? Psalm 56:11 In Elohim I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me? Psalm 91:1-16 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say to YHVH, “My refuge and my fortress, My Elohim, in whom I trust!” 3 For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. 5 You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or of the arrow that flies by day; 6 of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or of the destruction that lays waste at noon. 7 A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not approach you. 8 You will only look on with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked. 9 For you have made YHVH, my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place. 10 No evil will befall you, nor will any plague come near your tent. 11 For He will give His angels charge concerning you, To guard you in all your ways. 12 They will bear you up in their hands, that you do not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread upon the lion and cobra, the young lion and the serpent you will trample down. 14 “Because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high, because he has known My name. 15 “He will call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and honor him. 16 “With a long life I will satisfy him And let him see My salvation.” Psalm 112:1-10 Praise YHVH! How blessed is the man who fears YHVH, who greatly delights in His Torah instructions. 2 His descendants will be mighty on earth; the generation of the upright will be blessed. 3 Wealth and riches are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever. 4 Light arises in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious and compassionate and righteous. 5 It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; he will maintain his cause in judgment. 6 For he will never be shaken; the righteous will be remembered forever. 7 He will not fear evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in YHVH. 8 His heart is upheld, he will not fear, until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries. 9 He has given freely to the poor, his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be exalted in honor. 10 The wicked will see it and be vexed, he will gnash his teeth and melt away; the desire of the wicked will perish. Do Not Fear! Psalm 118:5-9 From my distress I called upon YHVH; YHVH answered me and set me in a large place. 6 YHVH is for me; I will not fear; what can man do to me? 7 YHVH is for me among those who help me; therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me. 8 It is better to take refuge in YHVH than to trust in man. 9 It is better to take refuge in YHVH than to trust in princes. Proverbs 1:7 The fear of YHVH is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 3:21-26 My son, let them not vanish from your sight; keep sound wisdom and discretion, 22 so they will be life to your soul and adornment to your neck. 23 Then you will walk in your way securely and your foot will not stumble. 24 When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. 25 Do not be afraid of sudden fear nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; 26 For YHVH will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught. Proverbs 9:10-11 The fear of YHVH is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. 11 For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you. Isaiah 12:2 Look, Elohim is my deliverer! I will trust in him and not fear. For YHVH gives me strength and protects me; he has become my deliverer.” Isaiah 35:4 Say to those with anxious heart, “Take courage, fear not. Behold, your Elohim will come with vengeance; the recompense of Elohim will come, But He will save you.” Isaiah 41:8-14 “But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, Descendant of Abraham My friend, 9 You whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called from its remotest parts and said to you, 'You are My servant, I have chosen you and not rejected you. 10 'Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your Elohim. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' 11 “Behold, all those who are angered at you will be shamed and dishonored; those who contend with you will be as nothing and will perish. 12 “You will seek those who quarrel with you, but will not find them, those who war with you will be as nothing and non-existent. 13 “For I am YHVH your Elohim, who upholds your right hand, Who says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you.' 14 “Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel; I will help you,” declares YHVH, “and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 44:6-8 “Thus says YHVH, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, YHVH of hosts: 'I am the first and I am the last, and there is no Elohim besides Me. 7 'Who is like Me? Isaiah 44:8 and the events that are going to take place. 8 'Do not tremble and do not be afraid; have Inot long since announced it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses. Jeremiah 30:10 “Fear not, O Jacob My servant,” declares YHVH, “and do not be dismayed, O Israel; for behold, I will save you from afar and your offspring from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return and will be quiet and at ease, and no one will make him afraid.” Jeremiah 46:27 “But as for you, O Jacob My servant, do not fear, nor be dismayed, O Israel! For, see, I am going to save you from afar, and your descendants from the land of their captivity; and Jacob will return and be undisturbed and secure, with no one making him tremble.” Lamentations 3:57 You drew near when I called on You; You said, “Do not fear!” Matthew 10:26 “Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known.” Matthew 10:28 “Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:31 “So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows. Luke 12:29-32 “And do not seek what you will eat and what you will drink, and do not keep worrying. 30 For all these things the nations of the world eagerly seek; but your Father knows that you need these things. 31 But seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. 32 Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.” John 14:27 “Shalom (peace) I leave with you, My Shalom I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” 2 Timothy 1:7 For Elohim did not give us a Spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control. Do Not Fear! 1 Peter 3:13-14 Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? 14 But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled, 1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of Elohim, that He may exalt you at the proper time, 7 casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love. Revelation 2:10-11 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death. Revelation 15:4 “Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; For all the nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” Are you being perfected in the love of YHVH so that the fear of Him casts out all the fear of men? If we are true believers and walk in the fear of YHVH and in his loving instructions, why should we fear men in the face of YHVH's love and his complete, limitless ability to protect and provide for us? YHVH wants us to trust him fully and completely, resting in his love and provision. Will we? As for me and my house, we will serve YHVH, walk in His ways and trust in him with all our heart, soul and strength. May YHVH, our loving Father, bless us all and cast from us any fear as He provides His perfect love and, in that love, all we need to live in this world and in the world to come. Shalom in Y’shua, Mark R. Ensign Adot Adonai Amarillo, TX Please share these words of encouragement from our loving Father with whomever the Ruach HaKodesh directs you to - so long as it is transmitted as a unit.
